Why no Pad Thai?

We get it - Pad Thai is the dish everyone knows! In almost every Thai restaurant, Pad Thai is a guaranteed bestseller, a “safe” choice that sells well and can easily be made with pre-made sauces, ketchup, and flavor enhancers. And yes, lots of Thai restaurants - and even some non-Thai places - have embraced this more commercialized, low-cost version of the dish because it´s popular and keeps people happy.


But there´s the thing: Pad Thai isn´t just one recipe. There are hundreds of versions, from grandma´s secret family recipe to the interpretations at places like Panda Express. We actually tried to serve a fully authentic version with homemade tamarind sauce, no ketchup and no flavor enhancers, but… let´s jsut say it didn´t win people over the way we hoped! After a lot of though and discussion, we decided to focus on what we´re passionate about: sharing the authentic Thai Dishes we love the most, and therefore know best. So, no Pad Thai - or any “white washed” dishes on our menu.


Our goal is to introduce you to a different, more diverse isde of Thai cuisine - something beyond the typical tourist Thai menu. We´ve designed our menu to showcase dishes that may surprise you, challenge you, and hopefully excite you! Yes, it´s a break from the norm, but where´s the fun in just sticking with what you know? We love exploring, experimenting, and perfecting new recipes, and we´re grateful for every guests who´s joined us on this journey.

So, while Pad Thai might not be on the table, we invitE you to be brave, embrace the heat, and dive into something new with us. We promise, it doesn´t get more authentic than this!
